PICTURE DAY!

We were on our way to get 3 generation pictures with Shusha...but we thought we'd take a photo op at home first! The only person missing is Daddy! He was behind the picture.
Here are the ladies of the hour! Shusha, Momma and me!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy New Year! May 2008 be filled with love, laughter and happiness!
Love,
The Middekers
We celebrated the end of 2007 and the beginning of 2008 with crab! We went out to Sea Breeze, a new to us restaurant! I didn't know what the heck to make of these things!
Oh, I get it! There's FOOD in there! See? It's SEAFOOD!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This was our first Christmas as a family. We have a very special ornament to remember 2007 always. Here are a few pictures left from Santa Clause.
This is Momma opening her new socks, she was pretty excited.
Here I am with a few of my new toys. I am pretty happy with my gifts, can you tell?

VISIT WITH GREAT AUNT GRANNY TREECE

When Shusha came to town, we decided to go visit Great Aunt Granny Treece. We had a slumber party and woke up Christmas Eve morning. Great Aunt Granny Treece, was kind enough to lend me her Santa hat. This is Great Granny Treece, Kellis and ME! We were putting our heads together....there is some serious brain power in this picture!
This is Great Uncle Pop! He is so funny, I love his tie and that mustache of his!

10 MONTHS HAVE FLOWN BY!

Your kidding me right? I'm 10 months old? You aren't serious. Where is the time going? I'm standing alone!
I even chat on the phone!

MY FIRST, FIRST CHRISTMAS

On December 15th I celebrated Christmas a bit early with Pop Pop and Di. We had a wonderful weekend....filled with good home cooking, our regular visit to the Mexican restaurant and lots of sweets. But the biggest highlight was, my introduction to the things called presents. At first, I really didn't get it....you can clearly see by the look on my face, I was a bit puzzled. It didn't take long for me to catch on though! It was mighty fun tearing into all the gifts! That's me behind the wrapping paper. I'm a pro gift UN-wrapper!
Here is a gift that Mom and Dad gave to Pop Pop. Its a video picture frame. Mom uploaded every picture she took of me. Needless to say, we were watching my slide show for a
REALLY LONG TIME.
I promised Mommy and Daddy to be a good girl next year...so we can do it all over again!

PICTURE TIME!

Mommy took me to get my Christmas pictures done. I think they speak for themselves. THEY SAY, DAMN SHE'S CUTE!

Go ahead and say it....AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. :)

MY CARETAKERS

I have been out of daycare for the past week. I had a pretty bad virus that was making me pretty miserable (and Momma and Daddy too!). Today was my first day back and boy was it a good one! We had our Holiday Party! I came back to open arms too... This is Miss Bree. She takes AMAZING care of me. We have a special bond!!
This is Miss Laurie. We go way back! She has been taking care of me since I was a little kid.
Miss Bree likes to check up on me. She just loves me to pieces.
Here I am having my afternoon snack. I had fruit, veggies, and a little cookie. It was quite the party!!
This is Mommy and Miss Bree. Mom is wearing her crazy uniform!

Here she is! Our Christmas Tree!

This Wednesday Mom, Daddy and I were hanging out and Dad decided it was time to take out the tree! So we all got to work. I helped straighten out the lights. They were a bit tangled...but I got them in a nice straight row.
Daddy helped me put the Angel on the tree.
Here is my tree...it's all decorated! Doesn't it look pretty?
I'm just taking the time to enjoy the view.

AS PER AUNTIE MONICA'S REQUEST!

Hello Family and Friends! I've had several requests for an update...so here it is!
I have learned quite a bit in my 9th month. I learned how to wave bye-bye, clap, how to climb out of my high chair...and most importantly I've learned how to pout! Mom captured it perfectly in the picture below. Here I am pouting again! Check out the arch in my back...I learned how to do that one on my own! No one taught me...I do it when I don't want my picture taken or when I don't want to be in my car seat. I'm a smart kid...I masted the art of the arched back in one day!
Now, now...I don't spend my entire day pouting! I still smile like crazy. It's my favorite thing to do. Thank you for stopping by...I hope you come again soon!
