Kady's first trip to the ER

Mommy, Shusha and I drove to Maryland to stay at

Great Auntie Treece's house on December 27th. We 

were suppose  leave for Japan on the 28th.  During 

the night I started to have trouble breathing.  Thanks 

to Mommy who woke and heard me, she quickly 

rushed me to the ER. When I got there  I had a 103 

temperature! My oxygen levels were low. The nurses 

hooked me up to oxygen. I didn't like having that up my 

nose and tried to pull it off. They are clever and taped

 it to my face! I am thankful for doctors and nurses.

 They helped me to feel better.

Our plans for Japan are postponed for now. I need

to feel better in order to fly the long flight to Japan.

MERRY CHRISTMAS - 2008

LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW

Today was the first time I was able to take advantage of what New England really has to offer!

SNOW!I borrowed a snowsuit and a set of boots....and well, I didn't get far. This snow is hard to walk in! Wipe OUT!

Alrighty, hopefully the next time you check the blog I will have had this snow thing figured out. It's tricky!

This Wednesday was Mommy's last day on board PSD Patuxent River, MD. A few of her SHIPMATES decided to ship her off with something to remember them by. I don't know vandalism was a really the way to send someone off?

A WALK AROUND THE CITY

Mom has been busy since I've been staying with Shusha! This weekend Pop Pop and Di came down to Washington, DC to see the sights and Momma drove up to meet them. From what Momma told me, it was VERY cold. Here is Momma and Pop Pop at the Changing of the Guard.

Thank you Pop Pop and Di for spending the day with Momma. She really enjoyed it.

When Daddy arrived in Japan we were able to video chat on the computer! I was so excited to see him all I did was hug and kiss Momma's computer. I can't wait to see him again! Momma said we'll be all together again in 23 days! That's not to long is it?

The other day I was showing off my twirling skills. I think I've got it down pat...minus a stumble or two!

GIRLY DAY OUT FOR MOMMY....

I let Mommy go out with Auntie Amanda to the spa...they spent a few hours getting their nails and toes painted. I figured Mommy deserved a few hours off...so I gave her some vacation time!Here is Mommy and Auntie Amanda...Momma was on the phone with Auntie Mish. They were sad that Auntie Mish couldn't make it. GUESS WHO I MET!

Over the weekend Mommy, Shusha, and I went shopping at Target. Well, wouldn't ya know...we ran into Aunt Marianne!! It was the very first time we met.I can't wait to see her again!

30 days and counting!

~Alrighty Daddy, I've waited long enough~ In 30 more days and I'll be taking this suitcase to the airport.

Mommy and I are going to fly from Washington, DC to Chicago, Illinois. After a 2 hour delay, we are going to take another plane to Seattle, Washington. There we will wait a long 12 hours.

Then!!!! Then!!!! Then!!!!

We are going to fly 15 hours to Narita, Japan!!! That's where we will meet MY Daddy.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

This year, I spent Thanksgiving with my Connecticut Family. Mommy and I made the trip this year because my Daddy is in Japan. He left early to set up shop! Tomorrow, he is going house shopping for us. I hope he finds one with a nice big playroom!I made this special Thanksgiving decoration during my last day at the Child Development Center on the Patuxent River Air Station. I was really sad to leave there because they've known me since I was 42 days old. They are like family to me!Here is Shusha, slicing the turkey! Mommy and Son...always smiling, laughing and poking fun!

This is my last Thanksgiving in the states for 3 whole years! Thankfully Uncle B was able to come out and visit with me. He always makes me laugh and smile! I love him...can't you tell? I love this guy!

Today Daddy left for Japan.

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE WITH GREAT AUNT GRANNY TREECE

I forgot to tell you! Last weekend, Great Aunt Granny Treece and I sat down and watched Strawberry Shortcake together! She said that her girls loved the video and wanted to share it with me and Mommy. It was better than going to the movies...let me tell ya!Think I look like a couch potato?When I was done relaxing, I jumped on the buns and thigh machine and got a little work out in.Phew! That was rough!One of my favorite things about GAGT's house is that Pops always leaves us a note by the door. It makes us feel extra special and very welcome.Thanks Pops!
