Today is ABSOLUTELY beautiful outside! Mommy and Daddy took me outside so I can enjoy the nice breeze and sunny weather! The silly grass kept poking through the holes of my Crocs. It tickled me. I'm glad this new warm weather is here....I sure love going outside.
Here I come Daddy! Wait for me!
I loved picking up pieces of grass. It looks prettier than it tastes, trust me!
Time to pose!
I am having so much fun! Want to come outside and play with me?!
(Thanks for my outfit Auntie Amanda and Auntie Mish, it was perfect for a sunny day like this!)

DUNKING
This video is pretty funny to my Mommy and to all of those that know her crazy eating habits. You see, she dunks pretty much everything in applesauce. She has been doing it as long as I've known her, and probably long before then too. Mommy didn't teach me this, but I was observing her and decided to give it a try. As you can see, I like to dunk too!
You should try it, it's pretty tasty!
BLUE EYES JUST LIKE GREAT GRANDMA MARGUY
It looks like my blue eyes are sticking. Great Grandpa Marguy tells me that "Awww, you have eyes, just like Momma". He still lovingly calls her Momma. It's nice to know that a little bit of her lives in me. I feel very special to have her eyes. I never got to meet her....but I know that we will meet someday.

STRAWS ARE COOL!
I mastered the art of a straw today! It was pretty tricky at first...but I figured it out! Mommy was thrilled because I learned by using her cup. She mentioned something about backwash...I don't know what that is, oh well! I DO know that cold water is my favorite drink and I was getting all I wanted!
Thanks to Mommy's cousin DD, she encouraged us to use sign language. So far I have learned; thirsty, hungry, more, and finished! It's so nice to be able to communicate with my parents. I know what I want, but I just can't vocalize it yet. But thanks to signing...I can tell them with my hands!

TUBBY TIME!
Every night Mommy sings the Tubby Time Song. Well tonight, I felt like busting a move! I got a little carried away...I didn't realize spinning made you so dizzy! I just love it when she sings to me. It's the most wonderful sound in the world...perfectly in tune!

NURSE AUNTIE KERRY
This is a picture of my Auntie Kerry. She is going to school to become a Registered Nurse! She is extra, super, duper, smart! I would have her take care of me any day! Auntie Kerry only has one more clinical before she tests. When she passes her test (WITH FLYING COLORS), she will earn the title of RN!!! Keep up the fantastic work Auntie Kerry! We love and miss you very much!
(Auntie Kerry is the 3rd one from the right. She has on a pair of classes, a v-neck pair of scrubs on and a BEAUTIFUL SMILE!)

A VALUABLE LESSON
I learned something important from my Daddy. He said the best way to leave room for dessert is to eat it first! Mommy bought some cheese cake (with yummy strawberry topping) for Easter. The other day they gave me a tiny sliver. It was good stuff!
Here is a view of my dessert from my angle.
What? I can't hear you. I have cheesecake in my ear....and up my nose!
Man, this stuff is GREAT!
I'm a mess! Tubby time!

HAPPY EASTER!
Happy Easter!
This morning Mommy and Daddy woke me up (yeah right, I woke them up :) and told me I had a visit from the Easter Bunny. He left me some of these really cool and colorful eggs. They are all different colors. Mom said that the Easter Bunny stayed up ALL night coloring them especially for me! What a guy!

IT'S JUST WHAT WE DO!
Every night we cook dinner. Every night we end up in the kitchen waiting for dinner to be cooked! Sure we have couches, love seats and chairs...but who needs them when you have a comfy dog named Mason and a nice cushy Mommy!
This is Mommy, Mason and Me! I already had my dinner and bath, but I helped Mommy wait for her dinner to be ready. Dad helped us wait too! I think Mason was waiting for the leftovers!
I learned how to give kisses. NICE BIG WET KISSES! I give them out for free....do I have any takers?
Just in case anyone was wondering...my eyes are still blue :)

What my Parents have to look forward to.........
This post is is a conversation between my Mommy and her old friend....lets see, how about we call him, STO. (This is a true story. Names have been withheld to protect the pride of the innocent. )
Mommy: Kady will be a year on Sunday. A WHOLE YEAR. Where the hell does the time go? Pretty soon she's going to tell me that my outfit isn't hip enough and asking for the keys to the car.
STO: Yeah...I lost all of my cool points years ago. Be careful with the car keys. My youngest drove the F-150 through the house and into the bathroom when she had her driver's permit. $8K in damage and 10 years off my life as I sat helpless in the passenger seat. 15 minutes after getting her driver's license she got hit by a lady who failed to yield. Fortunately nobody was hurt in either event. She still contends that she is a good driver...but has bad luck. USAA doesn't think so.
Mommy: Do you mind if I blog that last message? I can't stop laughing.
STO: She was backing the truck out of the garage and got a little crooked so I told her to pull ahead and straighten the truck out. She pulled ahead, looked over her shoulder, and as I started to say "don't forget to put it in reverse" she stepped on the gas. The truck went forward and hit the back wall of the garage. This caused her to panic and push down harder on the gas pedal causing all 300 ponies in that big 5.7 liter engine to kick in and launch us through the wall and into the bathroom. The really scary part is that my wife was on her way into the bathroom as the truck went past her and arrived in the bathroom just before her. I regret that I did not take pictures of the truck embedded in the house. I was too shaken at that point to think of it. My daughters biggest regret is that the teenage neighbor witnessed it and told everyone at their high school. The insurance adjuster told us he gets two or three cars/trucks through the garage wall or door a month. Feel free to blog my story...maybe someone else will learn from our experience or at least get a good laugh!
I hope that made your day, like it made ours!

Bedtime Story with Dad
Tonight Mommy had some last minute things to do before she put me to bed, so I asked Daddy to read me a bedtime story. He read me The Little Mermaid. Well, I got to about page three and I zonked out! I'll ask Daddy tomorrow to pick off where I left off. It was really interesting! Does Ariel get her land legs? Does she stay a mermaid forever?! I don't know! Tune in and we'll find out!
Daddy was just too comfy! I couldn't keep my little eyes open!

JON BON JOVI AND DAUGHTRY NIGHT!
Last night Daddy did a bit of babysitting and Mommy went out and let her hair down! Mommy and her friends, Chick and Mish went to a Jon Bon Jovi concert. Daddy and I hung out, had fun with dinner, bath, and books! I bought him the Cat in the Hat for his birthday....and he read it to me. I love special time with my Dad. He's the greatest....NOW BACK TO MOM!
Here is Chick, Mommy, and Mish. They have been friends WAY longer than I've been a live. They traveled all the way from Connecticut to ROCK OUT TO BON JOVI!
The concert opened with DAUGHTRY. He did an amazing job getting the crowd pumped up FOR......
JON BON JOVI! There he is, right in the middle of the stage.
Richie Sambora did a fantastic guitar solo. What an entertainer!!!
Here is the band. They played all the oldies and some new music. Mommy should go to more concerts because she can hardly talk today because of all the singing she did last night. Looks like today is going to be a quiet day at the MIDDEKERS!

MY FRIEND COLLIN
This is my friend, Baby Collin. He is so sweet! His Mommy and Daddy work with MY Daddy! Talk about a small world. Baby Collin came to house to celebrate my birthday. Look at that little party animal!
Hey Collin, you little flirt :)
In the middle of all the celebrating and present opening, I turned around and gave Collin a big squeeze. Everyone that it was so sweet I was more interested in Collin than my presents! Wouldn't you be?!

PROUD NAVY GRANDMA'S
