DAY WITHOUT DAD

Hey Everyone! Happy Sunday to ya! Today Daddy had to leave SUPER early to go on duty :( We don't like it when he has duty because the house is too quiet without him. So this morning we played a little and laughed a little....but we still miss Daddy.

To the left is my new way of smiling. Momma really gets a kick out of it. I love scrunching up my nose! Aren't I cute?

This is my shoe box. I didn't realize quite how much fun shoe boxes were until I got a few. I like to put my toys in them and dump them ALL out. I'll tell you what, I'd REALLY like to chew on it...but Momma says its not a great idea. So I do it when she's not looking.
Here I am washing the dishes. Momma said it's never too early to learn how to keep a clean house! She keeps the big kitchen clean and I'll keep the little one spick and span!

MY FIRST KITCHEN

So, today the UPS guy came. We got this HUGE box. Inside it was a Learning Kitchen! There is so much to do! The box was WAY big. WAY bigger than me!
At first I thought this was my toy. It had pretty colors and was all shiny.
Silly me! Here is my new Kitchen! Daddy put it together for me. He puts together all my toys. If Mom does it, they'd fall apart. Trust me.
Here is the back. I have a pretty flower, alarm clock, book, fish tank and a radio!
In the front is a stove, refrigerator, sink, toaster and nightlight! I love opening and closing the doors. Endless fun!

SUSHI YUMMY SUSHI

While Mommy and Shusha were eating their Hibachi Auntie Nikki shared her Sushi with me! It was pretty yummy! I figured I have to get used to it....they have A LOT of sushi in Japan! Here are my Chop Sticks.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Yeah! Happy Halloween! What a great holiday it is. We get to dress up in these great costumes and eat TONS of candy! We had so much fun Trick or Treating all over moms Navy base. Everyone there is so nice!Here I am chopping on a cool Halloween Straw!

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES

Happy Halloween everyone! Time is flying by pretty fast. I'm 8 months old already! I can stand, crawl and can even stand for a second (once I realize I'm standing on my own I freak out and plop on my butt). Mom says I'm a good combination between Chuck Norris, Wonder Woman and Mary Lou Retton. I don't know who any of those people are...but I'll take it as a compliment.

Today we have a very busy day full of appointments. But not too busy for Trick Or Treating! I have my goodie bag all ready to go as you can see! I will post (who am I kidding, Mom will post) my Halloween Costume soon. I can't wait! I look SUPER cute in it!!

Happy Sunday! This morning I woke Mom and Dad up pretty early...then Mason wanted to go for a walk. He was relentless....up the stairs down the stairs. That dog has some energy. I can't keep up with him. I try...but I just can't!Ahhh, I man and his dog!
Momma and I pass these pretty flowers everyday. Today I reminded her that we should always stop and smell the flowers. I just love the pretty pink one!
I'm a pretty silly Gal. I'll do anything to get Momma and Dad laughing!
This is Daddy jumping over the tennis net. We were trying to coax Mason to jump over it, but he just wouldn't do it! I think he was just having fun watching Dad do it.

HALLOWEEN IS COMING

Hey Ya'll! I don't know if you know this or not...but Halloween is right around the corner! I am not entirely sure how it works...but I DO know that there is some SERIOUS candy involved!!Here I am in my Halloween Gear! This is from Pop Pop and Di-Di. Don't I look SUPER CUTE?!

NO ALARM CLOCK! BAD ALARM CLOCK!

This was me this morning...I woke Momma up this morning at 5 am. I wanted to eat...so I climbed in bed with Momma had a little breakfast and went back to sleep. I love climbing in bed with Momma and Dad. Their bed is nice and cozy! They let me sleep with them on weekend mornings. I think it's 'cause they like to keep me asleep for as long as they can. It's a win, win. I get to nuzzle with them...and they get a few hours extra hours of sleep!
I'll tell ya something. MOM WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE WITH THE CAMERA! I was wondering why I was seeing camera flashes in my dreams! Now I know why!

BOY, I'M GETTING BIG

Hey Everybody! It's me, Kady Mae. I know it's been a while since I've done an update...but we've been kinda busy. I have discovered the fact that I don't need to stay in one place! I have mastered the art of crawling! I call it running on my hands and knees. I also LOVE standing up. I'm starting to coast across things...Momma thinks I'll be walking by Thanksgiving. Let's see how it goes...but I don't think walking will be all that hard.

I love my metal basket. I like to flip it over and push it while I walk behind. Mom freaks that I'm scratching up the floor...but hey, I'm motivated. I want to walk!

Dad taught me how to stick my tongue out at the EXACT time Momma takes my picture. Momma loves it, well, not so much.I've become quite the Escape Artist. Buckles are a must with me. This toy is from Auntie Vanessa. I just love it! The ducky plays all sorts of music. This is my car seat. I don't like spending time in it AT ALL. 10 minutes and I want out. BAD.
This is my new trick. Standing. I love it! I can see the world in a whole new perspective! I can get into a whole lot more stuff this way! I pulled a whole roll of toilet paper off the roll the other night. I'm sneaky, sneaky.
Yeah, this is me and Momma. We're best buds. 2 Peas in a Pod. She said I can't move out until I'm 40.

MY BOY THATS A FRIEND

This is my boy-that's-a-friend, his name is Carlos. We may look like we are up to something...but we were just hanging out on the couch. Promise. Dad was watching over us...that's his elbow in the picture :)

We were both born in February....He was born on the 7th and I was born on the 24th! Our Mommies are friends and work in the Navy together. Look at Carlos' beautiful hair! Isn't it so nice and curly? I hope my hair grows like his!

OUR WALKS

Hello everyone! I just wanted to share with you one of my favorite times of the day (Mom's favorite time is when I'm sleeping, but we aren't going to get into that). Everyday when Mom gets home from work we gather up Mason and hit the road. We go for a walk....it's just under 2 miles. Here is Mommas walking view. We chit and chat the whole time....Mason doesn't say much, but we include him in the conversation...he's a good listener.
Here I am with Mason. He is such a good pupper. We tell him to sit and stay and he actually does! We bring him once a week to Doggy Training School and it is really starting to pay off.

Alrighty, tomorrow is picture day. Since Momma waited until the last minute to figure out what outfit she liked the best....we are down to the wire, and we STILL don't know what to wear! Hello All, I want to apologize...mom has this thing with my feet. I don't get it, but whenever she gets a chance she takes pictures of them. Mom calls them my tootsies! This is my hat. Shusha sent it to me. I just love it!
